These five tips for HESTA employers can help you save time and meet your super obligations more easily.

2. If you have any questions
Free call HESTA on 1800 813 327 during business hours (8:30am - 5:00pm). To help us respond more quickly, please quote your HESTA employer number. It’s on the top of the Contribution advice we send you each month.
3. When you are enrolling a new member
First, check if the employee is already a HESTA member. If they are, they have probably already completed a New member application form and must not complete another one. They should simply supply their HESTA membership number to you.
If the employee has not yet joined HESTA:
- provide them with Your HESTA member guide (Product Disclosure Statement)
- collect their completed New member application form and send it to HESTA no later than your next Contribution advice
Add your employee's details to the next Contribution advice you receive from HESTA. Remember to include:
- their full name
- date of birth
- address
- date they began employment with you
- their TFN (where it has been provided)
- their HESTA membership number (if one has been issued previously)
Failure to supply all of this information may mean HESTA cannot allocate contributions to the member’s account.
4. Stationery

5. Arrange a workplace visit from a HESTA representative
A HESTA representative can visit your workplace to explain the ins and outs of super to you or your employees.
