Anne-Marie Corboy, CEO HESTA

Anne-Marie Corboy was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of HESTA in May 1998. Under her stewardship HESTA has thrived as the national industry superannuation fund for Health and Community Services. Today Anne-Marie and her team manage over $13 billion with over 600,000 members and 59,000 employers.

In addition to her role at HESTA Anne-Marie is also Company Secretary to H.E.S.T. Australia Limited and holds the position of Trustee of the MCG Trust. She is also an alternate Director for both ISPT and IGIPT.

Anne-Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Financial Services, AIST Certificate of Super Practice and is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Before joining HESTA Anne-Marie enjoyed a highly successful career in the Victorian education sector commencing in 1976 as a primary teacher. Anne-Marie then held several roles within the Victorian Teachers Unions with her last position being Branch Secretary for the Victorian branch of the Australian Education Union before joining HESTA in 1998.
 
Anne-Marie has also been a director of Industry Fund Services Pty Ltd and Super Member Investments Ltd, Women in Super and Chair of the Board of Northern Health for 5 years. Anne-Marie has also been a Director on the Victorian Superannuation Board, an Advisory Board Member of the Foundation for Sustainable Economic Management, a Board Member for the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST), and a Trustee for both the State Superannuation Board and the State Casual Employees Superannuation Fund and was a Director of Kangan Batman Institute of TAFE .
