    Past performance

    Because the HESTA Income Stream and the Super Members Pooled Super Trust (SMPST) are relatively new financial products, direct past performance figures are not available.

    However, the SMPST investment options and strategies used by HESTA until 2010 are closely based on those of its predecessor investment vehicle, as used by the IRIS Superannuation Fund. IRIS’s past performance figures may help to illustrate how the HESTA Income Stream would have performed in the past.

    For these reasons, the past performance figures shown here and in the Product Disclosure Statement for periods prior to 1 December 2007 are those for the IRIS Superannuation Fund and the SMPST. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance and the value of your investment in the HESTA Income Stream can rise or fall.
