Who is eligible?
Nominees must be a qualified individual currently employed as a midwife in Australia. Suitable nominees are those that go over and above the everyday demands of the role and exhibit exceptional qualities.
Nominations must demonstrate all of the following:
- the nominee has made an exceptional contribution to improving care/outcomes for patients and/or communities
- the nominee has significantly contributed to delivering a positive outcome in service provision or patient care
- the nominee has shown outstanding understanding or advocacy on behalf of patients or the profession
- how the prize money will enhance or assist in personal development or further development of processes or services in the workplace.
