Super Income Stream

Performance

Neither HESTA, the investment managers, nor the appointed custodian, guarantee the capital or performance of the income stream products.

All investments have a degree of risk. The risk depends on market factors and economic fluctuations relating to capital growth or income.

Past performance

Because the HESTA Super Income Stream and the Super Members Pooled Super Trust (SMPST) are relatively new financial products, direct past performance figures are not available.

However, the SMPST investment options and strategies used by HESTA until 2010 are closely based on those of its predecessor investment vehicle, as used by the IRIS Superannuation Fund. IRIS’s past performance figures may help to illustrate how the HESTA Super Income Stream would have performed in the past.

For these reasons, the past performance figures shown here and in the Product Disclosure Statement for periods prior to 1 December 2007 are those for the IRIS Superannuation Fund and the SMPST.

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance and the value of your investment in the HESTA Super Income Stream can rise or fall.

HESTA Super Income Stream investment performance reports

Note: Prior to September 2010, there was an error in the reporting of performance results for the Fixed Interest investment option since the inception of the HESTA Super Income Stream. This error has not impacted the allocation of earnings to member accounts.

The correct performance results for this option and its benchmark are detailed in the September 2010 quarterly performance summary.

The returns for all other options in the monthly reports below are not affected.
