You can update your phone and email details quickly and easily in your online account. Keeping them up to date is essential, so you don’t miss important communications about your super.

Before you reach out, check if you can save time by logging in to your online account. You can do most transactions online (with more to come soon). Need help with your online account access? To help you get access to your online account as quickly as possible, please call us now on 1800 813 327 (or +61 3 9957 0064 from overseas) and say ‘online account access’. Your call will go to our specialist support team who will assist you.



Supporting you

We know some members are still waiting longer than usual for their requests or payments to be processed. We’re working very hard to resolve any issues and support you. We’re very sorry to any member who hasn’t had the experience they should expect from us.

Manage your account online

The quickest and easiest way to manage your super is in your online account. 

Log in to the HESTA App (or download it at the App Store or Google Play) to:

  • view your account balance
  • view investment options
  • view investment earnings
  • view your personal details
  • view insurance cover
  • download annual statements.


Log in to your online account to:

  • view your account balance
  • view and update investment options
  • view contributions to date
  • request a Centrelink schedule
  • make after-tax contributions (you’ll find your BPAY® details in the Contribute tab)
  • find and combine other super into HESTA
  • check your insurance cover, if you have it
  • update your cover and make insurance claims (via AIA)
  • view your current beneficiaries
  • nominate or update your non-binding beneficiaries
  • withdraw super (if you're eligible).

HESTA Income stream members

In addition to your regular payments restarting, you can:

  • view your next payment date and amount
  • view payments to date and for the rest of the financial year.

The ability to change your payment amount and frequency and also your drawdown amount is not available yet, but it's coming soon.

End of financial year returns are in

Keen to know how HESTA investments have performed over the past year? The results are in, with another year of strong returns for our members* despite a more volatile and uncertain period in global markets.

Your super ‘pay rise’

Starting today, your employer’s super contributions will rise to a minimum of 12% of your wage, up from 11.5% last financial year. That could mean thousands more in your account over time.

You can watch your contributions grow in real time in your online account. Just log in and tap the Transactions tab.

You can also check them in the HESTA App. 

 


Your EOFY investment check in

As the end of the financial year rolls around, now's a great time to check in on your investments. Log in to your online account to see how your chosen options have been performing to date.

Quick tip: investment returns are shown on a financial year basis, so they’ll reset to $0 on 1 July.

 

 

Extra support

More than 200,000 logins to our members’ online accounts have been recorded since 2 June, as members use the service to manage their super and income streams.

With most of our members using our services as normal, we know some members are experiencing longer than usual wait times for requests.

CEO Debby Blakey gives an update (in the above video) on how we’re working to support those members who need extra help right now. 

 



Centrelink schedules available now

We’ve added Centrelink schedules to your online services. Just log in to your online account and click on the Payments tab, where you can request your Centrelink schedule — you’ll receive it in your online account inbox within 1-2 business days.


Making progress 

We’re continuing to work through any outstanding member requests and payments as quickly as possible.

If you’re still waiting on a request: please know we’ve put extra resources into responding. We're sorry for any frustration these issues may be causing. We know this is not the experience you expect and deserve from HESTA, and we're doing everything we can to support you.

Here for you

Your super is still being managed with the same care and dedication as it has always been. Your retirement savings are invested as normal, and regular income stream payments, employer contribution processing, investment switching and other transactions are up and running. 

You can do most of the key things through your online account, from checking your balance, investments and contributions to changing your details. 


Supporting you through change

Regular payments are up and running, with hundreds of millions in benefits paid since services resumed, including regular pension payments, rollovers and other critical payments.

While most of our members have been able to do and receive what they need, we're aware some members are having to wait longer than usual to reach us, or for their requests to be processed.

We’re sorry these services are taking longer than expected. Our team is working very hard to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and to support every member who needs help.
