Adviser and Non-Executive Director
Mark Burgess has had an extensive global career leading asset managers and owners. He is a senior adviser to the industry and holds several Non-Executive Director positions.
Mark is Chair of the Advisory Board of Jamieson Coote Bonds, Non-Executive Director of Northern Territory Infrastructure Development Fund and on the advisory board of the OMFIF in London.
Mark was previously Independant Chair of Yarra Capital Management and the Managing Director of the Future Fund, Australia’s $120+ billion-dollar sovereign wealth fund. Prior to this he was CEO of Treasury Group, an Australian listed investment company with over $16bn under management. He has also worked overseas extensively including as an Executive Vice Chair and CEO of Credit Suisse Asset Management (EMEA) in London, and a Global CIO for Equities and Multi-Assets. He has also held high profile Global CIO roles for American Express Asset Management, Colonial First State, Colonial Group and senior Portfolio Manager Bankers Trust.

Robert has been involved with investment markets for more than 35 years in both Australia and in Asia. He is a certified practicing accountant and is currently the Head of Equities at Nikko Asset Management Asia Limited. He actively researches macro developments in the global and Asian economies and investment markets.
Robert’s previous experience includes CIO for Asia Pacific at Credit Suisse Asset Management with responsibility for Equity and Fixed Income teams in Australia, Singapore, and Japan. He has directly managed fixed interest funds as well as an equity based absolute return fund. Robert has overseen teams managing equities, fixed interest and balanced funds.
