HESTA has today announced Chief Engagement and Growth Officer Joshua Parisotto will leave the Fund later this year to take up an external opportunity.
HESTA CEO Debby Blakey thanked Mr Parisotto for his leadership at HESTA and his passion and commitment to supporting members to feel confident about their retirement.
“Josh has made a terrific contribution to HESTA, particularly through his leadership in our work to better support members with education and advice,” Ms Blakey said.
“For more than six years he has helped more of our members get the guidance they need to make confident decisions about their super and retire their way.
“We wish Josh well as he embarks on a new opportunity."
Mr Parisotto joined HESTA in January 2020 as Chief Advice Officer. In his current role, he leads the Member Engagement and Facilities teams, with key responsibilities including member education, advice and growth through partners and employers.
Mr Parisotto said he was proud of what his teams had achieved over the journey.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working alongside an incredibly talented and committed group of people that are driven by making a difference to our members,” Mr Parisotto said.
“We have made significant steps forward in engagement and advice as we seek to better support members in feeling confident about their retirement. This has included the introduction of tools like Future Planner, which has supported close to 300,000 members in understanding and planning for their retirement.
“I'm proud of what we've built together and wish the team all the best into the future.”
Mr Parisotto will leave the Fund in October. The Fund will embark on a process in the coming months to inform decisions about the future executive leadership of the member engagement areas.
