Anglicare Western Australia's Foyer Oxford program was a finalist in the 2018 HESTA Community Sector Awards.
Anglicare WA is a leading not-for-profit organisation committed to helping people and families across Western Australia rise above tough times.
They provide 86 services across 44 locations to support people experiencing homelessness, family and domestic violence, family separation, financial stress, disability and mental health issues on a journey to thriving.
Anglicare WA’s Foyer Oxford is an innovative youth transition program which supports young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness between the ages of 16 and 25. The program delivers significant outcomes for its residents through the combination of housing, support and access to diverse education, skills development and work opportunities.
It is the largest single site homelessness service for young people in Australia, with 93% of young people leaving Foyer Oxford moving on to stable accommodation and 89% reporting an increase in their capacity to live independently.
