a privilege to lead: my final message as HESTA CEO

This is my final member update before I finish my time as HESTA CEO, and I want to begin with what I feel most deeply — what a privilege it is to lead the fund that helps more than one million members face the future with confidence. 

Over the past decade, alongside the incredible HESTA team, I've focused on the changes that most improve your retirement outcomes.

Together we secured super on Commonwealth Paid Parental Leave, advocated for fairer tax on super, and built a modern platform that gives you the tools to manage your super with ease.

It’s all been in service of one goal: a dignified retirement for those who deserve it most. 

I am especially grateful for the trust you place in us, which guides everything we do. 

I'm also delighted to introduce Robbie Campo, who steps into the CEO position on 31 August. 

Robbie brings more than 26 years of experience across the superannuation sector, and shares HESTA's deep commitment to our members — with a particular passion for improving women's financial security in retirement. I know she'll be a strong advocate for you. 

HESTA's purpose, strategy, and commitment to your retirement will not change. Robbie and the team are ready to keep delivering for you, and I will hand over knowing your super is in excellent hands.
