help applying for the age pension

Applying for the Age Pension can be tricky and time-consuming. You could also miss out on your entitlement if you’re eligible for the Age Pension but delay your application. That’s one of the reasons why we’ve partnered with Retirement Essentials: to help ease the process for you.

Retirement Essentials are experts in helping people apply for and retain the Age Pension, and they can guide you through the application process.

The best way to start is by using their free Age Pension Eligibility Calculator to work out if you could be eligible for the Age Pension, and how much you could receive.

You can also get a quick overview of how the Age Pension works here.

  • There are new income limits for the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC). The new income threshold from 4 November 2022 is $90,000 for singles, $144,000 for couples, and $180,000 for couples separated by illness. Increasing the CSHC income threshold will allow more older Australians access to the relevant pharmaceutical and medical benefits discounts and other associated concessions that the card provides.
